Bev and Russ started the company in 2023. A new company, a new start. A family-run business that brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Grantham and the surrounding area. Having previously run two other garages, you can rest assured that you are in safe hands.

Bear and Bee might seem a strange name for a garage. But there is a reason behind it. Some might suggest that the Bee represents the smaller vehicles that we can service and repair. Whilst the Bear represents the larger vans that we can work on. These individuals would be incorrect, but we like that idea too.

In 2020 Ian, Bev’s husband and Russ’s father passed away. A terrible time for all of the family. As we all know, losing a family member leaves a massive hole. And they were no different. Whatever happened next, Russ wanted to ensure that he honoured those that have gone before him. This is where the unusual name came about. Ian had a nickname of Teddy Bear, and Bev a nickname of Bee. If you ever meet Russ he has a bear and a bee tattooed on his left arm.

The family values run throughout this company, and the pride they have stems from ensuring that Ian is never forgotten, and Bev will always be honoured, for the work they have done and did.

We now look to build on this foundation and create the best garage in Grantham. With increased investment in our workshop and employees. Keeping us on top of our game and creating an incredible reputation for quality work and excellent customer service.

As a quality independent garage, we offer a wide range of services to drivers in and around Grantham. If you need an MOT for your car, we can do that for you as we are your local DVSA-approved MOT testing centre in Grantham for class 4 vehicles. We also offer warranty and post-warranty car servicing and all the mechanical maintenance services that you’d expect such as exhausts, brakes, cambelt replacements, clutches and many more.
